Biography

By the time he was in high school, Adam Goldberg was already training fellow students in the use of television technology, a trend he continued into his college years at Rowan University.

As the President of Rowan Television Network, Goldberg played an integral role in securing a $130,000 Capital Improvement Fund grant from the University's SGA.  He proceeded to research equipment, receive quotes, design and build a digital post-production facility, as well as a "travelling control room" for use in the field.  He trained over 40 staffers in the use of this ENG and EFP equipment, creating manuals and designing curriculum that was turn-keyed to underclassmen.

Graduating with a B.A. in 2004, Goldberg was immediately recruited by New Jersey Network.  Starting his career in the industry as a freelancer, he worked in the Archiving and Engineering departments, even doing an overnight stint in Air and Master before landing a full time position as the station's Audio Engineer.  As the youngest member of the NJN team, Goldberg found himself responsible for engineering and mixing daily and weekly shows, special events, and live coverage of breaking news.

At the same time, Goldberg maintained those college ties by becoming a founding member of Justice Productions, a New Jersey filmmaking collective producing award-winning short films that have been screened across the country and the world.  He has also taken his talent on the road, participating in many live events and freelancing for NBC Sports.

Excited by the creative prospects of emergent technology, Goldberg remains rooted in engineering and ready to grow into the next phase of his multimedia career.
